Working Principle water filling line

A water filling line utilizes automated equipment to carry out the three core processes—bottle washing, filling, and capping—on purified water, ultimately producing bottled or barreled drinking water ready for sale. The process relies on mechanical transmission, air pressure, and gravity to achieve high-speed, hygienic, and continuous production.

  • Bottle Washing
    Empty bottles are conveyed into the washing machine, where they are inverted and secured by grippers. High-pressure nozzles spray sterile water or disinfectant to thoroughly rinse the inner walls; additional cleaning stages using hot alkaline solution and disinfectant are also employed. Wastewater is discharged immediately, and bottles pass through a drip-dry zone to remove residual moisture before being returned to an upright position, ensuring a clean, sterile interior.
  • Filling
    Cleaned empty bottles are transferred to the filling machine via a star wheel, with bottle mouths pressed tightly against the filling valves. The product water flows from the reservoir into the bottles under gravity, while air inside the bottles is vented back to the reservoir through a return pipe. Once the target liquid level is reached, the valve closes automatically, achieving high-precision, rapid, and quantitative filling driven by gravity.
  • Capping
    Filled bottles are conveyed to the capping station, where a cap sorter aligns and feeds the caps. A capping head picks up a cap and—driven by cam action and friction—presses down while rotating to tighten it onto the bottle threads. A magnetic device precisely controls the capping torque, ensuring consistent sealing standards and preventing scratches on the bottle mouth, thereby isolating the contents from external contamination.
